What is a Veneer?

A veneer is a thin artificial filling material, usually plastic, composite, or porcelain, that is used to provide an aesthetic covering over the visible surface of a tooth. Most often they are placed on the front of the teeth. Many people want veneers because the are cemented permenantly onto the teeth which allows your smile to be a perfect custom colored white.
